Hello, On April 13, 2024, I had a flight from Diyarbakir to Istanbul with flight number TK2603 at 08:25. Despite arriving at the airport an hour earlier, a Turkish Airlines employee failed to complete my ticketing process, causing me to miss my flight. While waiting in line at the counter at 08:30, an employee asked me to step aside, claiming I was being called from inside. After waiting, the same employee informed me that I missed my flight, effectively causing the delay. Turkish Airlines should have booked me on the next flight, but instead, they did not provide any information and demanded a penalty fee for missing the flight. Additionally, I was given a delay certificate stating that I applied for my 08:25 flight at 08:22, which prevents me from making any claims. When I explained the situation to the evening shift staff, they said I should be put on another flight; however, due to a mistake, I could not take my flight. I need to be at work on Monday, and this situation has caused me both financial and emotional distress. I am at risk of losing my job and request that appropriate actions be taken against the responsible staff. Lastly, due to the holiday rush, Diyarbakir Airport was extremely crowded. From my observation, various methods are being used to make people miss their flights, causing inconvenience to passengers. I spent the entire day at the airport, and many others faced the same issue. I demand that this problem be resolved as soon as possible.
