Turkish Airlines Flight Check-in Issue with VY73GM Reservation Code
Despite arriving at the airport 1 hour before my 07:40 AM flight on 13.08.2023 with reservation code VY73GM from Turkish Airlines, I was unable to check-in due to a few counters being open and the heavy crowd. They told me the flight was closed and directed me to the sales office, where many others were also waiting. Despite my frustration, the staff responded indifferently, saying there was nothing they could do as I didn't follow the rules. They mentioned that if the ticket was canceled, I would only get ₺88 back, which is a ridiculously low amount. Some people before me bought new tickets for a higher price than the original, while others got angry and left. Since I had to be at work, I purchased a new ticket for the same reservation code, paying ₺992. Besides the financial loss, I also suffered emotionally, wandering around the airport and then having to travel again. This is not the behavior I expect from Turkish Airlines. Many people, including myself, faced issues, and I want this situation resolved. I am dissatisfied and may avoid using Turkish Airlines in the future if necessary.
