I am complaining about Turkish Airlines not processing my ticket refund or change after a flight cancellation. The email I received stated:
"Your flight TK1799 from Istanbul (IST) at 15:00 to Gothenburg (GOT) at 17:30 on June 12, 2024, has been canceled due to operational reasons. You can manage your ticket through our mobile app or website.
Thank you for your understanding."
However, the ticket management on both the mobile app and website does not work. I did not receive any response to my emails, and the operators were unable to assist me. I also visited the branch in Harbiye, but they could not resolve the issue because they claimed the ticket was issued by SAS. When I contacted SAS via email, they informed me that since I did not respond within 14 days, no refund or change would be processed.
If the cancellation email had mentioned that I needed to contact SAS, I would have done so in time. But since the cancellation email came from Turkish Airlines, I lost valuable time and am now facing this issue.
I request a refund of the ticket price or the issuance of a new ticket.
