Turkish Airlines Flight Cancellation and Compensation Request
On 06.08.2023, I purchased three tickets for my wife, daughter, and mother-in-law for the EDO-IST route scheduled on 13.08.2023. The PNR for this booking is: tzbvwj. Subsequently, on 10.08.2023, just 3 days before the flight, we received an SMS from Turkish Airlines informing us that the flight was canceled due to operational reasons. There were no available flights on the same day or the following days.
After verifying this, I created a notification on Turkish Airlines' website with the number TK-9144441, requesting both a refund for the ticket cost and compensation for all passengers. Up until the moment of the flight cancellation, we received no response to this notification. We had to return to Istanbul by road under challenging conditions.
On 17.08.2023, we received an email offering 5000 Bonus miles as a response to our notification. On the same day, I submitted a new notification with the number TK-9202313, stating that we did not accept this offer and reiterated our request for a refund of the ticket cost and separate flight compensation for each passenger.
Approximately 25 days have passed since the day they canceled the flight, and we have received no response. We paid for the canceled flight on this month's credit card bill. I urgently request a clear response regarding the refund of the ticket cost and flight compensation.
