Turkish Airlines Elite Plus Miles Incorrectly Gifted to Strangers
After becoming a Turkish Airlines Elite Plus member, I discovered that 40,000 miles were mistakenly gifted to three unknown individuals, granting them Elite membership. I noticed the issue within 24 hours and immediately contacted customer service. They instructed me to file a complaint, which I did. I was then advised to take the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board, and I followed through with that as well. Despite the clear identification of the recipients by name and TK number, and my prompt request for cancellation within 24 hours (which Turkish Airlines confirmed was canceled), I have been left waiting for months with no resolution. This situation has caused me significant distress.
