Turkish Airlines Damaged My Luggage
On Sunday evening, September 24, 2023, at 21:00, I traveled from Ercan to Antalya. My large suitcase contained a smaller suitcase and a 1-liter bottle of liquid (well-wrapped in cardboard). I'm referring to the liquid inside the suitcase. When my luggage reached me, the liquid had broken and spread all over my belongings. When I reported the issue to the relevant area, I was told it was my fault, but many luggage problems occurred on the same flight, with broken suitcases and spilled items. You can confirm this by contacting the relevant unit. No help was provided to me at all. I was simply told it was my fault, but I don't see any mistake other than handing over my suitcase to you. I don't carry cabin baggage; you transport my luggage, and such irresponsibility should not happen. When I handed over my suitcase at Ercan Airport, I explicitly stated that it contained glass, but I was only told that nothing would happen. I did not expect such an issue from a company like THY. Even though it was another company's flight, I deliberately chose THY. Regret.
