Turkish Airlines Damaged My Baggage but Didn’t Compensate It
On November 15, I flew from Istanbul to Berlin and then traveled to Poland. When I received my baggage, one of the wheels was broken and it was very difficult to move. I reported the damaged baggage before leaving the airport. They provided me with an email address and told me that my damage would be compensated if I contacted them. I emailed them, and they told me that I need to provide a German address as they cannot send it to Poland. They said I should either contact the company or provide a German address. Additionally, they are asking for an extra fee of 24€ to send the luggage. I requested another email address to apply, but they did not respond. Since I am abroad, I cannot make calls to Turkey. As a frequent Turkish Airlines customer, I request compensation for my damage. If necessary, the luggage can be sent to my address in Turkey. I am expecting a response as soon as possible. Best regards.
