Turkish Airlines Canceled My Flight Without Considering My Inconvenience
Hello, I had a flight ticket from Diyarbakir to Istanbul on April 17, 2024. A few days ago, I received an email stating that the flight was canceled due to 'operational reasons.' When I called customer service, they told me that they could only create a backup reservation. We created a few backup reservations, but there is no guarantee that these will be confirmed. I don't understand how flights can be canceled without considering passenger inconvenience, especially when I had a hard time finding a ticket for April 17 just before the holiday. Flights can be canceled, but I request that additional flights be provided for passengers whose flights are canceled. I have a very important exam at the university on the 17th, and I need to be there. However, I can't find a ticket for less than ₺3,000 with either Turkish Airlines or any other company. I am in a difficult situation. I need to be in Istanbul by the 17th. If there are no economy class tickets available - and there aren't, as I have checked multiple times - I request that my ticket be changed to a 'business' class ticket on any day close to the 17th at no additional cost.
