For our 36-hour planned Black Sea and Batumi tour, we boarded the Istanbul-Rize flight at 07:00 on March 15, 2024. After taxiing to the runway twice and returning, we were deplaned at 10:00. When we asked the staff when we would depart, they said it was uncertain and directed us to the sales office for ticket cancellation or refund. Due to the delay, our integrated Batumi tour, car rental, and hotel reservations were canceled. At the sales office, we were told to suspend the ticket and provide feedback through the website. It is unacceptable that Turkish Airlines does not accept ticket refunds or changes and causes us inconvenience due to their own mistakes. This attitude, which disregards customer satisfaction, involves being deplaned after waiting three and a half hours and not being able to change the ticket, unlike a company that cancels a ticket if you are five minutes late. I would like to state that I will seek my rights through the complaint platform and legal means. I will also announce how Turkish Airlines victimizes people through social media and all media channels.
