Turkish Airlines Baggage Damage Issue

During my recent trip with my 8-year-old son on Turkish Airlines flight TK 79938 from DDP to Istanbul on 03.07.2023 at 06:10, we unfortunately received our baggage in a damaged (unusable) condition. A report was filed with file number 2023136482.

Firstly, I would like to thank you for your prompt response and attention to the matter. However, I find the compensation amount of ₺978 offered for the damage to our suitcase insufficient given the current value of the Turkish Lira.

I have sent you an email with an online sales record showing the original price of the suitcase, as well as its current market value. I kindly request that you consider the current market price for the compensation rather than the past value.
