THY Miles & Smiles Account Hacked and Miles Stolen
My Miles & Smiles membership account was hacked by someone else. As soon as I received the message that my membership password was changed, I called customer service, which is recorded in the logs. I told the representative that suspicious activities were being carried out by someone else and asked them to protect or block my miles and account with the identity information I would confirm to them. I was told that I needed to fill out a form on the THY website. While this conversation was taking place, and as confirmed by the customer representative, all my miles were used on Amazon. As the account owner, I filled out the form, which specifically requested an identity document for information changes. Despite filling out the form and four days passing, no one contacted me by mail or phone. It is concerning that while the hacker could change all information (email, phone, etc.) in two minutes, I have not received any communication after waiting for four days. The system should work to protect the rights of the account holders, but in this case, it only adds to the grievance.
