Missing Items from My Luggage at Turkish Airlines Flight Return from Canada

On my return from Canada with Turkish Airlines, I couldn't find my luggage. I went to the lost luggage office, and they told me to look around as they didn't have it. After searching, I found my suitcase in a distant corner with a 'unclaimed luggage' tag and a broken handle. When I got home and opened it, all my tagged new items were missing. I immediately reported the issue and was given a tracking number, but weeks have passed with no updates. They asked me to send receipts for the lost items, which I did, but they claimed they were unclear, so I sent them again. The only response I received was to send the damage report for the suitcase. What about the stolen items? This is very disappointing. Years ago, Lufthansa handled a similar situation by promptly reimbursing me after receiving the receipts. I'm waiting to see what will happen now. This needs to be compensated. Also, who tagged my suitcase as 'unclaimed' and left it in a corner instead of the office? They should check the cameras.
Progress

Turkish Airlines does not take responsibility for stolen goods. I have over $500 worth of losses, including items that still had their new tags on, totaling over 26,000. Of course, there are items for which I do not have receipts. They are offering me 9,000 liras. The suitcase was so damaged that its handle was broken. A note saying "unattended luggage" was attached to it, but it was not taken to the lost and found office; instead, it was left far away from where the luggage is returned. What are the cameras for? I provided the receipts, but the items without receipts are gone, of course. You pay a ton of money for a ticket, and then they do this. I am sorry on behalf of THY, and I will follow up on this; they need to find out where it happened. They say they will open your suitcase if you lock it, and in the end...
