I recently discovered that a complaint I wrote to Sikayetvar.com in 2018 was not approved, but even after six years, I have not given up on my complaint.
On February 3, 2018, I completed my check-in for the Nevsehir-Istanbul flight at 09:50 at Nevsehir Airport. Half an hour before the flight, we learned that the gates were closed and my family was not allowed to board. Interestingly, the plane was still waiting on the apron with its doors open. However, a ground service staff member insisted that they could not open the door and allow passengers to board, even though other people were still walking to the plane from the runway. Even more interestingly, the plane started moving towards the runway at 09:47. I couldn't understand why a plane that wasn't scheduled to depart yet took off and why the door wasn't opened even though we were the only passengers at the airport. Strangely, some staff and police officers tried to help get the door opened, but the ground service staff stated that they couldn't open the door due to Turkish Airlines principles. Even though the police officers insisted that the door could be opened, the staff did not open it.
The day before, on February 2, at the same time, I went to see off a relative on a Turkish Airlines flight, and a Japanese group was expected twenty minutes before the flight. After they were taken on board, the plane departed. While we were at the gate forty minutes before the flight, the Japanese passengers were allowed to board fifteen to twenty minutes before the flight.
I ask the Turkish Airlines authorities: Is it a crime to be Turkish in this country?
