Incorrect Gender on Flight Ticket - Request for Correction Ignored by Turkish Airlines

Dear Sir/Madam,

I purchased a ticket for the Tiran-Istanbul flight at 13:20 on 28.08.2024 through Kiwi.com. While booking, I made a mistake with the gender information. To correct this simple error, I first contacted Turkish Airlines (THY) and created a feedback record with the number TK-11281520. THY informed me that the issue should be resolved by Kiwi.com, despite holding responsibility for the ticket. I then reached out to Kiwi.com, who stated that they have my personal information and will correct the issue but mentioned that such changes should be authorized by THY.

I’m not asking for a major alteration or a name change—just a correction of the mistakenly selected gender. However, THY has completely disregarded my issue. I've been left frustrated, and my money has been taken without any resolution. The call center has been entirely unhelpful, advising me to purchase a new ticket instead.

I believe that THY and its agents are intentionally causing harm to consumers. If my issue is not resolved, I will pursue legal action to protect my rights.
