My flight TK7523 from Antalya to Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) was delayed for over 8 hours. I experienced a traumatic event at Antalya airport with my 6-year-old child. Despite the officials' only explanation being 'weather conditions', other flights were delayed by a maximum of 2-3 hours and then took off. The stress of waiting at the airport and the surrounding conflicts caused both psychological and physical harm to my child. The plane circled around Antalya for hours, with the only explanation being that the plane could not get landing permission. After 8-9 hours, we finally boarded the plane, but then it circled over Sabiha Gokcen for another 2 hours due to landing permission issues. We waited anxiously, wondering if there was a problem with the plane. Neither the pilots nor the cabin crew provided any reassuring explanations. I condemn THY staff and flight pilots for neglecting to offer an apology or explanation to the hundreds of passengers, including children, babies, elderly, and sick individuals, who were inconvenienced.
