Turkcell Promised Dronecell in Ads but I Saw Nothing When the Earthquake Hit

I watched Turkcell’s Dronecell commercial with genuine hope, thinking it represented a real technological advancement that could help in times of crisis. But now I’m asking myself—where are those drones? Was this just another flashy ad campaign with no real-world application? Every time there’s even a small earthquake, the infrastructure breaks down completely. People can’t reach their loved ones, and basic communication becomes impossible. It’s incredibly upsetting to see a company that charges us like clockwork every single month fail to deliver when it actually matters. If Turkcell can’t follow through on the promises it makes in its advertisements, maybe it’s time to step aside and let others who are truly committed to public safety take over. This is not what I expect from a leading telecom provider.
