TuneCore Froze My Music Revenue After Fraudulent Ownership Claims on My Song

March 12 1:51 PM

My earnings of $1,249 from my music release titled “Aşkım Çok Pardon 2.0,” which is distributed through TuneCore, have not been paid to me because of a fraudulent copyright claim made by a fake rights management group. This group falsely presented itself as the owner of my work and caused my song to be removed from digital platforms. As a result, TuneCore has been withholding my earnings for more than a month.

When I contacted TuneCore support, I was told that I needed approval from these individuals and that they were allegedly the rightful owners of the song. However, these people are not the legitimate owners of the work and are making entirely false ownership claims. I possess the original project files, production materials, and creation records on my computer that clearly demonstrate my authorship and ownership of the song. Despite this evidence, TuneCore appears to be relying on the statements of these unauthorized individuals while refusing to release my earnings.

The email address associated with my TuneCore account is u******@gmail.com. I request that TuneCore immediately review this dispute, recognize the fraudulent nature of the copyright claim, and release the full $1,249 in earnings generated by my song “Aşkım Çok Pardon 2.0.” I also request that TuneCore implement stronger verification procedures and security measures to prevent artists from experiencing similar issues due to false copyright claims in the future.
