Pegasus Airlines Charged Me Extra for My Flight

On 22/07/2025, I purchased 4 tickets from Pegasus for the Ankara–Istanbul flight. Since it would be my children’s first time flying, we specifically wanted to travel at a bright hour, so I paid about ₺900 extra per person to choose the 19:00 flight. However, our flight was delayed, and we were transferred to a later flight at a darker hour, which was much cheaper. I had been willing to pay the higher price so that my children could enjoy their excitement and have a pleasant first flight experience. When I contacted customer service, I only received the standard response: “Delays may occur, you accepted this risk.” A month later, they got back to me but offered no solution or compensation. I paid nearly ₺6,000, whereas the cheaper flight cost only ₺700 per person. The emotional disappointment we experienced was never compensated—my children’s excitement was ruined, and as a family, we were left with great disappointment. I request that Pegasus refund the price difference I paid or provide new tickets for my children. I also ask that passengers’ grievances be taken into account in such situations and that similar issues do not happen again.
