Travelocity's Deceptive "Free Cancellation" Policy
Thanks to Travelocity's alluring offer of free cancellation up to 24 hours, booked a hotel through them. With full confidence, as they openly advertise professed flexibility. Yet somehow, unanticipated events forced me to cancel my trip just days before it was supposed to depart, but I was taken aback to discover that my hotel insisted on a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellations, rather than the 24 hours that Travelocity had informed me of. in the hopes of getting this problem fixed reached to Travelocity, the virtual agents just pointed me in the direction of the hotel's policies and offered no actual assistance, I didn’t give up, reached out via social media, same thing happened, impersonal, generic replies. I have a hotel bill that I can't use. Thx for all.
