TheBestPDF Unauthorized ₺1,599 Charge and Personal Data Security Violation
On June 25, 2025, I made a one-time purchase of a PDF converter through TheBestPDF. However, on August 1, 2025, I discovered a new charge of ₺1,599 withdrawn from my card via SGT VTheBestPDF overseas virtual POS*, processed completely without my knowledge or consent. I never approved any ongoing subscription, nor was I informed of any recurring billing at the time of my purchase.
This situation is not just a financial problem but also a serious breach of personal data security. My card details appear to have been stored and misused without authorization. I am now left in a vulnerable position, with money taken from my account unfairly.
I have attempted to resolve the matter, but the lack of transparency and customer support has left me with no answers. Instead, I am forced to take further action to protect my rights.
I demand that TheBestPDF immediately cancel any hidden membership linked to my card, refund the full ₺1,599 charge, and confirm in writing that my personal and financial details are securely deleted. If no action is taken, I will proceed with a formal complaint to the prosecutor’s office and initiate legal proceedings against the company for violating consumer rights and data protection laws.
