Swatch Refused to Accept Return for Unused Gift – No Policy Mentioned on Receipt

My spouse bought me a Swatch watch as an anniversary gift, but since I didn’t need it, I went to the store the next day to return it. The watch is completely unused, with all the original packaging and documents intact. I didn’t even remove the plastic or try it on. However, the store refused to accept the return, saying that because it’s considered an accessory, returns aren’t allowed. What’s frustrating is that there’s no mention of this policy anywhere on the receipt or any other documentation. I expect Swatch to honor a fair return policy, especially when the product is in perfect condition. This situation is very disappointing, and I’m requesting that Swatch reconsider their decision.
