Swatch Refuses to Refund Store Purchase and Declines Exchange Due to Strap Change

I purchased a Swatch watch from their store, only to be informed shortly afterward—just 30 minutes later—that they don’t offer refunds, only exchanges. However, they also refused the exchange because I had adjusted the strap. None of this information was made clear at the time of purchase. This is disappointing and frustrating customer service from a reputable brand like Swatch. I feel misled, and it’s unreasonable for a simple strap adjustment to disqualify an exchange. I want Swatch to address this issue fairly and offer a solution. A heads-up for others—consider these policies carefully before making a purchase.
