On February 22, 2023, I purchased a pair of New Balance 530 shoes from the SuperStep store in Mall of Antalya. After some time, both shoes started tearing at the same points where the mesh connects. Initially, I thought the tears wouldn’t worsen, but they have grown significantly over time. I sent the shoes for inspection on October 29, 2024, and my claim was denied. When I contacted customer service, they dismissed my concerns and told me to send them in for inspection again, which I did, but the claim was denied once more.
The shoes haven’t even lasted two years, and I paid a high price for them. The damage is only at specific points, indicating a manufacturing defect. I’ve also spoken with SuperStep staff, who confirmed that other customers have faced the same issue with this model tearing at the same spots. I wore the shoes carefully, followed all care instructions, and didn’t even use them daily.
I had a similar issue with New Balance shoes years ago, where the sole separated from the upper part. This brand clearly cannot produce durable footwear. I demand an immediate resolution and a replacement for this defective product. If this is not resolved promptly, I will pursue all legal avenues.
