New Balance Shoes I Bought From SuperStep Wore Out After Few Uses
On 07.05.2025, I purchased a New Balance 2002 model pair of shoes from the SuperStep store for about ₺4500 at a discounted price. Even though I have worn the shoes fewer than ten times, after the fifth use the back heel area started to pill and fray severely. I took the product to the store, requested an inspection, and handed in my receipt. However, I later received an SMS stating that the problem was customer-related and my request was rejected. I was also told that I should wear proper socks inside the shoes, even though I always use suitable socks and have observed that the inner lining is highly prone to pilling. In the message sent by Eren Perakende, they claimed to prioritize customer satisfaction, yet I was not assisted in any way and was left dissatisfied with the process. I find it unacceptable that such heavy wear and tear occurred in such a short time with very little use. I believe the issue is due to a manufacturing defect and therefore request a full refund. I will not choose the New Balance brand again, and if my request is not met, I will take the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
