Sunshine Holiday Resort Housekeeping Enters Room Early and Trashes Guest Belongings

We stayed at Fethiye Sunshine Holiday Resort Hotel for one week on an all-inclusive basis, checking in on July 23 and checking out on July 30. Although we were dissatisfied with the service overall, our biggest issue occurred on our check-out day, July 30.

Even though we had not yet left the hotel and our official check-out process was incomplete, staff entered our room, packed up our personal belongings, and threw some of them in the trash. We had to spend a considerable amount of time dealing with the front desk and hotel staff just to locate our items. In the end, our belongings were recovered and returned to us, but that does not excuse the severe negligence and irresponsibility displayed.

Entering a guest's room before they have checked out and taking or discarding their personal items without permission is completely unacceptable. On a financial level, my Versace shower gel went missing. Beyond that, the stress, frustration, and having to spend the entire final day of our vacation dealing with this ordeal caused us significant distress. This incident raises serious concerns regarding the hotel's respect for guest property and overall service quality.

Due to this negligent treatment, I expect financial compensation for my missing item as well as an official apology from hotel management. I also demand that necessary precautions be implemented so that a similar incident does not happen to other guests.
