I Stayed at Sunshine Holiday Resort and Faced Bed Bugs, Overcrowding, and Filth
My stay at Sunshine Holiday Resort was one of the worst vacation experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel claims a 500-person capacity but had packed in over 1500 guests, making everything overcrowded and chaotic. Our room was infested with bed bugs—yes, actual bed bugs. I had to kill them myself and even filmed it as proof. I was forced to wait in that disgusting room until morning just to check out.
The beach photos online are completely misleading. The “beach” barely has 30 cm of shallow water, and if you don’t have your own car, you’re stuck relying on shuttle service—if and when they decide to run it. The pools smell strongly of urine, there are no umbrellas, and the food is absolutely terrible. The meals mostly consist of recycled turkey, and it’s clear they cut corners everywhere.
To make things worse, the parking area is infested with wild boars. I’ve never seen anything like it. This place is unsanitary, misrepresented, and completely mismanaged. Sunshine Holiday Resort should be held accountable for these outrageous conditions. I demand a refund and urge others to stay far away from this place.
