SunExpress Airlines Refund Request for Ankara-Stuttgart Flight Cancelled Due to Earthquake

On September 6, 2022, our country was hit by the Kahramanmaras earthquake. My doctor wife and I were both sent to work in the earthquake zone. We were supposed to fly from Ankara to Stuttgart on March 1, 2023, to attend a medical conference, but we had to cancel our trip because of our work in the disaster area. We asked for a refund on our flight ticket, but we were told that we would only get back the amount we paid in taxes. We understand that this may be the policy in some situations, but we think ours is different, so we're asking for a full refund. As health care workers, we are working hard to help people who have been hurt by the earthquake, and we think that our hard work should be recognized.
