StubHub Has Not Paid Me for Tickets I Successfully Sold
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction regarding the delayed payment for tickets I successfully sold through the StubHub platform.
On May 30, I purchased tickets for the Kanye West concert in Istanbul and later decided to resell them through StubHub's official marketplace. The tickets were successfully sold, and the related transaction number is 640999357.
Despite the sale being completed, approximately ten days have passed and I still have not received the payment owed to me. When I contacted customer support, I was informed that the funds would only be released after the concert takes place on May 30.
I find this policy difficult to understand and unfair from a seller's perspective. StubHub is able to collect payment from buyers immediately when tickets are purchased, yet sellers who have successfully completed a legitimate sale are required to wait until after the event date to receive their money.
In my case, the tickets were sold well before the event, meaning the transaction was completed long in advance. Holding the proceeds until the concert date creates unnecessary delays and causes financial inconvenience for users who have fulfilled all of their obligations under the transaction.
As a seller, I believe I should receive payment within a reasonable timeframe after the successful completion of the sale, especially when there are no disputes, delivery issues, or other complications associated with the transaction.
I respectfully request that StubHub immediately review transaction number 640999357 and release the payment owed to me without further delay.
In addition, I request a clear written explanation regarding the reason for the payment hold, the exact date on which the funds are scheduled to be transferred, and the specific policy that justifies withholding payment for tickets that have already been sold successfully.
I expect a prompt response and a fair resolution to this matter.
