I participated in Starbucks' promotion for earning 30 stars on purchases over ₺500. During my purchase, the total was ₺499 for a bag of coffee. I informed the cashier that I wanted to complete the total to ₺500 to qualify for the promotion. The employee suggested adding a bag fee, which brought the total to ₺502.
However, after the transaction, only 1 star was added to my account. When I contacted customer service, I was informed that the bag fee doesn’t count toward the total, leaving my purchase at ₺499. I followed the advice of your employee and now feel misled.
I request that the 30 stars be added to my account as promised. Clear communication and proper training for employees are essential to avoid such issues in the future.
