I signed up for a free trial of Smallpdf’s PDF text editing service on 8 April 2026 directly through the Smallpdf website, and I cancelled the subscription on the same day. Despite cancelling within the free trial period, I was nevertheless charged for an annual subscription, even though it was clearly presented as a free trial, and I should not have been billed. Since I cancelled on the same day I started the trial, I request a full refund of the annual subscription fee that was charged to my payment method and confirmation that my subscription has been cancelled so that I will not be charged again in the future.
