Skechers D’lites Fresh Start Shoes Peeling and Tearing Within One Year

In September 2024, I purchased the Skechers D’lites Fresh Start model through the Skechers mobile app. The product was delivered to the İzmir Westpark store, and my invoice was issued under the number w0520*********93. I used the shoes under normal, everyday city conditions.
Less than a year after purchase, the leather upper began to peel and crack, and shortly after that, tearing occurred at the point where the upper meets the sole. For a product that became this worn and unusable in such a short time, I paid over $160 in 2024. Due to the excessive wear, I have not been able to use the shoes for several months.
I submitted the product for inspection, but I received a response stating that there was “no manufacturing defect,” and no solution was offered. I chose Skechers believing it to be a high-quality brand, even accepting a higher price compared to alternatives, but the product deteriorated before even completing one year of use.
I request that my product be re-evaluated in a more detailed and objective manner, that it be considered a defective product, and that a solution be provided to resolve my grievance—either through a replacement or a full refund. If necessary, I will escalate this matter by sharing my experience with relevant company representatives, including on LinkedIn.
