Singapore Airlines Luggage Damage and Unresponsive Customer Service


I arrived in Istanbul from Phuket on July 29, 2023, with a layover in Singapore. My suitcase arrived at the airport damaged, much to my dismay. I went straight to the Singapore Airlines office at the airport to lodge a complaint. They handed us a document and told us where to go. A response arrived a few days later, stating that the damage would not be covered. We contacted them again, only to be told that it had been more than a week since the flight, making any action futile. It's confusing that our brand-new Samsonite suitcase, purchased for our honeymoon, looked like it had seen a decade of use. Despite the fact that the suitcase was labeled as fragile, it was clearly mishandled. I urgently request that this situation be resolved. I refuse to accept that my suitcase was damaged from the start.
