Siemens Charged Me for EQ500 Grinder Issue Caused by Misleading Instructions

I purchased the Siemens EQ500 coffee machine, trusting the brand's global reputation and was initially satisfied. However, after removing the internal coffee grinder component for cleaning—following the instructions shown both on the machine and on Siemens’ official YouTube videos—we were unable to reattach it. To avoid further issues, we contacted customer service, only to be told by the technician that the part should not have been removed as it disrupted the calibration. Despite this, Siemens clearly presents cleaning the component as a simple, user-friendly task. Ultimately, I was charged ₺5,600 for a replacement part, which I believe is due to a general information error on Siemens’ part, not user negligence. There was no breakage or misuse involved, and users cannot be expected to understand the complexities of machine calibration—especially when no warnings were provided in any of the materials. Additionally, while the technician originally quoted ₺5,000, customer service later offered a discounted rate and portrayed it as a favor, which felt misleading. I’ve been dealing with this issue for three weeks and haven’t been able to use the machine I paid ₺20,000 for—expecting premium quality, not complications worthy of a ₺2,000 device. Labeling this as user error is unacceptable, and unless Siemens corrects this systemic issue, I will take all necessary steps as a consumer to resolve this unjust situation.
