About two years ago, I purchased Siemens EQ500 offee machine through the company’s official website, and I am now experiencing an issue where I cannot reinstall the brewing unit after cleaning it. Although the brewing unit is designed to be removable and cleanable, placing it back after cleaning is extremely problematic. After encountering this issue, I researched it and found that many other users have experienced the same problem, and that this is known as a chronic defect in the product. This shows that the part is very prone to malfunction during normal use and has a design/usage flaw. When I noticed the malfunction on Sunday and called the company on Monday, I was told that my warranty had expired on Friday and that I would have to pay for the repair. This malfunction is entirely product-related and occurred within the warranty period; it was simply detected on that day because cleaning is not performed daily. I do not find it fair to be considered out of warranty by just one day, and I do not consider it acceptable for a company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction and quality to refuse assistance by saying the warranty expired one day earlier. Since I believe this issue is a chronic, product-related defect rather than user error, I request that my coffee machine be inspected under warranty and repaired without any cost to me. I want the product to be made usable again reliably and without issues.
