Denied Fuel and Customer Dissatisfaction at Shell

On September 1, 2023, at 2:48 PM, I went to the Shell Petrol Elvankent branch in Ankara to refuel my vehicle. Only the front pumps were operational, which caused chaos and confusion. Because the fuel nozzle was facing the wrong way, the hose length did not reach my vehicle's filling cap. When I inquired about it, the attendant informed me that providing fuel in this manner was against the rules. I obediently repositioned my car in the queue, but to my surprise, they were serving vehicles in the opposite direction. When it was my turn, however, they refused to dispense fuel. When I mentioned that it was allegedly illegal to fuel in this manner, they inquired as to who had told me that. When I mentioned I was going to file a complaint, they dismissed me and suggested I complain to whomever I pleased, indicating a lack of customer service. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I have decided that I will never buy fuel from Shell again due to their declining service quality.
