Wingie Flight Refund Delayed Despite Airline Approval
I purchased a return ticket from Wingie with Philippine Airlines for the flight on 30 March from NAIA Manila, Philippines to King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a total amount of 2,681.870 SAR as shown on my tax invoice dated 25 February 2026. Due to the escalated war last March, I requested a refund for my return ticket. I contacted Philippine Airlines directly and they informed me that they had already approved the refund and issued an Agency Credit Memo to the travel agency with reference number #8107900177, meaning Wingie should debit the refund amount. In other words, the airline has completed its part of the process and is waiting for Wingie to claim and process the refund. Despite this, I have been waiting since March and still have not received my money back from Wingie. I have contacted Wingie customer service many times regarding this issue, but my messages have been ignored and I have not been given any clear response or solution. I kindly request that my refund for this ticket be processed without any further delay and that the amount of 2,681.870 SAR be returned to me using the same payment method I used when purchasing the ticket. I also expect a written confirmation explaining when the refund will be completed and why it has been delayed for so long despite the airline’s Agency Credit Memo already being issued.
