I purchased a Seiko watch on August 16, 2024, based on the seller's claim that it was durable and built to last. However, that very night, the watch stopped working on its own. I noticed it in the morning and thought it might just be a one-time glitch. But throughout the day, it stopped two or three more times. When I returned to the store to report the issue, they inspected it and claimed the glass was broken.
I never hit the watch on anything, although minor contact in a work setting is unavoidable. For a high-priced watch, it’s shocking that a small tap would cause this kind of damage. I even questioned if they had sold me a subpar or non-original product, as I trusted their recommendation. When I expressed my frustration, I was met not only with refusal to help but also with rude remarks.
A quality brand like Seiko should stand by its products, and I expect either a replacement or a proper resolution.
