Gymfactory Antalya Member Complaint Over Harassment and Unfair Treatment

I have been a yearly member of the Gymfactory Antalya branch, where I work out together with an older brother-like friend of mine. He is financially well-off, a kind-hearted person, and does not provide personal training to anyone in exchange for payment. When other members ask him about basic exercises, he simply demonstrates or helps them out as a matter of goodwill. This should not be considered personal training in any way.

Despite this, over the past month, we have been subjected to what felt like both covert and overt harassment almost every day. We were repeatedly and unfairly accused of things such as “providing personal training.” While many people at the gym demonstrate exercises to one another and help each other, we were particularly disturbed by the fact that my brother-like friend, M****** Bey, was specifically targeted.

In the most recent incident, a person named U****** at the gym went so far as to raise his voice at M****** Bey and raise his hand as if to physically attack him. Despite this, M****** Bey did not retaliate in any way, did not escalate the situation, and tried to remain calm. However, no disciplinary action was taken against the other member who allegedly attempted to use physical violence. No one was warned, and his membership was not terminated.

Despite all of this, M****** Bey was expelled from the gym on the pretext that he was “providing personal training,” even though he had done nothing wrong. Allowing the person who allegedly attempted to use physical violence to remain at the gym while removing a member who was acting in good faith is both deeply unfair and seriously disrespectful. I believe everything can be clearly seen on the security cameras and that the truth will become apparent if the footage is reviewed objectively.
