Segway Ninebot F2 II Folding Mechanism Extremely Difficult to Use
I recently purchased a Segway Ninebot F2 II electric scooter. While I’m generally satisfied with its performance, I’ve run into a frustrating problem: folding the scooter is nearly impossible. Even when I pull the pin as required, the other latch refuses to move. It feels like a mechanical issue because human strength alone is not enough to release it.
This has made the scooter inconvenient for daily use, especially when I need to fold and carry it for public transport or storage. I’ve tried multiple times, always following the correct steps, but the mechanism remains stuck and requires excessive force. For a scooter that is advertised as foldable, this is a serious flaw.
I request that Segway provide clear technical support on this issue, whether it’s a known defect in the folding system or if there’s an adjustment or part replacement needed. Customers should not have to struggle this much to use a basic function of the product. I also urge Segway to offer a repair or solution under support service so the scooter can be folded smoothly and safely.
