Unauthorized Charges From Scribd

I am writing regarding an unauthorized subscription charge of $13.13 that Scribd took from my credit card on June 30, 2026 through the US website. I had previously signed up only for a free trial and cancelled it months before the trial period ended, so I did not consent to any ongoing paid subscription. Despite this, my card was still charged. After noticing the charge, I contacted Scribd customer support, but I have not received any response so far. Being charged for a service I had clearly cancelled and then not getting any reply from support is unacceptable and has caused me both financial and emotional frustration. I request a full refund of the $13.13 that was charged without my authorization and written confirmation that my subscription is canceled and that no further charges will be made to my card. I expect this issue to be resolved as quickly as possible.
