I Keep Getting Charged $11.99 Monthly by Scribd Despite Canceling My Membership

In February 2025, I made a one-time payment of $11.99 to Scribd to download a specific document. Immediately after that transaction, I canceled my membership—thinking that was the end of it. However, since then, I’ve been charged $11.99 every single month on my credit card.
When I log into the Scribd website, it shows no active membership and no outstanding balance. Yet my card continues to get billed monthly. This is incredibly frustrating and feels like a deliberate attempt to take advantage of users by charging for a service that was canceled long ago and is not visible or manageable through the user dashboard.
I demand a full investigation, a complete refund of all unauthorized charges, and a permanent cancellation of this so-called subscription. If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will proceed with filing a legal complaint against the company.
