Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Screen Turns Black, Won't Show Anything

May 24, 2023 8:55 PM34

This is my second Samsung watch and I am still experiencing the same situation. I used the Gear S2 model before, now I'm using the Galaxy Watch Active 2 model, I can't use it more precisely because this watch gave the same malfunction as the first watch. Problem; the screen of the watch turns black and does not show any image. Samsung Technical Service told me that the watch had water and therefore the motherboard and screen had to be changed for 2000TL. I guess I have to remove the waterproof watch from my arm while washing my hand?? My previous watch, the Gear S2, had turned off out of the blue. So even if this watch is not waterproof, I think it would eventually shut down because Samsung smart watches have a certain usage time. For some reason, it appears after the warranty period has expired. We spend that much money and buy a watch, but we cannot use it for more than 3-4 years. It's a bit of my fault, I go back to Samsung watches over and over again. It would be nice if we weren't a victim. Oh, and it was also funny that they were charging 100 liras for a service inspection fee for a problem caused by their own products. If I had accepted this money for the repair, they would have deducted from the repair fee. It is really sad that they are a company that approaches customer grievance so commercially.

I was called by Samsung yesterday and they stated that they would support the service fee regarding the issue, but they said that they could do nothing when they returned today, almost as if they were kidding. Obviously, ı have no choice but to apply to the Consumer Rights Court.
