Both of my Samsung brand televisions, which just recently went out of warranty, have developed the same issue with the screen going black. I bought them around the same time. When I spoke to the store I purchased them from, they said this model has chronic issues, and after searching online, I found out that many others have the same complaint. As soon as I wrote on the Şikayetvar page, Samsung called me. They wanted to charge me a service fee just to inspect the TVs. I objected, and then the service called again. When I explained the problem, the person immediately understood what was wrong. Clearly, Samsung is now making products designed to break so they can profit from spare parts!
Anyway, the service quoted me a repair cost of ₺11,920 – almost ₺12,000. My TV is 50 inches, and a brand-new one costs ₺15,000! It feels like a joke! Samsung in Turkey is not the Samsung you used to know. They don't stand behind the products they sell anymore. My TVs haven’t been moved, hit, or damaged, and I don't even have children in the house. It’s no coincidence that both broke down at the same time. Don’t waste your money on this brand!
