Samsung Made My Fully Functional S3 Smartwatch Useless After Software Updates
I recently attempted to connect my Samsung S3 smartwatch with my new Samsung phone, only to discover that it’s no longer supported because of software updates. My watch works perfectly, with no problems at all, yet I can’t use it just because it’s seen as outdated. I contacted support, looking for a resolution. When I enquired whether I should discard a fully functional device, the reply was basically “Yes.” It's disappointing that Samsung's strategy appears to encourage customers to purchase new products by making older models less functional due to software restrictions. Companies ought to provide extended support for their products and refrain from pushing unnecessary upgrades on their customers. This experience has significantly shaken my confidence in the brand.
