Salomon Shoes Side Split Issue—Denied Warranty by Store Despite 2-Year Guarantee
I purchased a pair of Salomon sports shoes on 06.01.2024 from Mammamia, a store located in 41 Burda Mall, Kocaeli. However, by 25.01.2025, the shoes had already split at the sides, so I returned to the store to request a warranty claim.
To my surprise, the store representative dismissed my complaint, claiming that Salomon shoes only have a 6-month warranty and refusing to provide any assistance. The attitude was rude and dismissive, leaving me extremely dissatisfied. However, Salomon officially provides a 2-year warranty, meaning the store’s response was completely unacceptable.
I chose Salomon because of its reputation for durability and quality, yet my experience has been extremely disappointing. I am requesting a replacement or repair under the valid 2-year warranty. If this issue is not resolved, I will escalate my complaint to the necessary consumer protection authorities. I expect a prompt resolution.
