Salomon Reduced the Warranty for X Ultra 4 GTX from 2 Years to 1 Without Notice

I purchased the Salomon X Ultra 4 GTX shoes on 01/04/2023 from Manta Outdoor, located in Winstown AVM, Diyarbakır. Over time, the back of the shoes began to peel, and the laces showed deformations, nearly reaching the point of breaking. When I visited the store to request a warranty claim, the staff informed me that Salomon provides a 2-year warranty if purchased directly from them but only 1 year if bought from their store. I was never informed of this policy at the time of purchase. I now request a replacement or at least for the product to be sent for inspection—if the defect is my fault, I accept the outcome. However, I question the legality of reducing a product's standard 2-year warranty based on arbitrary store policies. I have already escalated the issue to the Consumer Arbitration Board, but I also want to express my dissatisfaction here. If Salomon’s customer satisfaction is being compromised by independent retailers enforcing unlawful policies, the brand should seriously reconsider its stance.
