I purchased a pair of Salomon Alphacross 5 Gore-TEX shoes on November 23, 2023, for ₺4,499, and now I deeply regret my decision.
Both shoes developed tears in exactly the same location—a clear sign of a manufacturing flaw. This isn’t normal wear and tear, and it's highly unlikely for two shoes to tear in an identical way unless it’s related to a design or material defect.
I submitted them for inspection under the two-year warranty, expecting Salomon to stand behind their product. Instead, they responded that no production defect was found and rejected my claim.
It’s disappointing that a brand charging such a premium fails to take responsibility for such a clear fault. For the same price, I could have purchased far more durable and reputable shoes from other brands.
This experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied. Salomon should re-examine this case, acknowledge the clear issue affecting both shoes, and offer a replacement or refund. Ignoring customers who trusted your “performance” label will only damage your credibility.
