Ryanair Refuses Refund for Canceled Flight

I needed to fly back from Larnaca to Istanbul as soon as possible. The route I took was Larnaca to Tel Aviv, then Tel Aviv to Budapest, and finally Budapest to Istanbul. Cyprus Airways canceled my flight from Larnaca to Tel Aviv because of the current unrest in Israel. At the same time, Ryanair also canceled my flight from Tel Aviv to Budapest. Cyprus Airways quickly gave me a refund for the canceled flight, but Ryanair refused to refund my payment by claiming that the tickets were not canceled. If an airline cancels a flight for any reason, they have to give passengers their money back.
