Ryanair Chaos from Duplicate Bookings and Denied Boarding
Last month, I booked a flight with Ryanair for my October 1st journey to Germany, with a return scheduled from Amsterdam on October 9th. Attempting to secure my return ticket, I encountered a system error, preventing the completion of my purchase. A few days later, when I revisited the app to finalize my return ticket, only my outbound flight was visible in the ticket section. I proceeded to purchase my return ticket separately, and upon reviewing my bookings, I noticed a bizarre glitch. The system displayed three tickets, with the most recently purchased ticket listed second and the prior ticket in the third position.
Detecting the discrepancy due to differing ticket prices, I tried everything to cancel or reschedule, but Ryanair refused to cooperate. As my return date of October 9th approached, I requested my rightfully reserved second seat, only to be denied. To add insult to injury, upon boarding the plane, I discovered that my rightfully reserved second seat had been resold to someone else.
