Ryanair is hands down the worst airline I’ve ever flown with. The planes feel more like overcrowded village buses than commercial aircraft. In the name of offering “cheap” flights, they’ve created a system full of traps that force passengers to pay hidden and excessive fees.
I’ve traveled the world with the same cabin-size suitcase, and never once had an issue—until Ryanair. At the gate, they suddenly claimed my bag didn’t meet their size limits, even though it fits every other airline’s standards. I wasn’t alone—several other passengers were also told their bags were “too big.” The airline uses deliberately small measurement bins and their staff rudely dismisses complaints. You either pay up or risk missing your flight.
I was charged an extra ₺75 at the airport, on top of the ₺22 I had already paid online for carry-on. That’s ₺97 just for cabin luggage—on a so-called budget airline. Their conduct is deceptive, exploitative, and unacceptable. I will never fly Ryanair again and strongly urge others to avoid this airline if they value honesty and basic respect. Ryanair, refund these unjust charges immediately.
